Ayesha Khan, (born September 27, 1982) is a Pakistan television actress.[1][2][3] She has appeared in many mainstream television series aired on Pakistani channels. Khan made her acting debut in the series Tum Yahi Kehna which aired on PTV in the early 2000's.
Khan was born into a Muslim family in Lahore, Pakistan. Her family is from Lahore Her father is of Punjabi descent and her mother is of Pathan descent
Khan spent much of her childhood in Abu Dhabi and Canada.[5] She adapted into the Pakistani culture just as her career in Pakistan's entertainment industry began.[5] Her role in the dramatic series Mehndi has garnered her the most popularity to date.
Khan has played some well-loved characters on Pakistani television,[3] having appeared in several Pakistani television serials. Her appearances include Manay Na Ye Dil and Kaafir. One of her most popular roles has been the character of Sajjal in Mehndi, a 2003 drama serial which was produced by Ever New Pictures and directed by Javed Fazil, and in which Khan appeared opposite Humayun Saeed.[6]
Khan's favorite costar is Noman Ijaz. She is also a top model.
Khan has been popular with the Pakistani tabloids and paparazzi, especially in regards to the rumors about her marriage with Humayun Saeed.
Her astrological sign is Libra. In an interview, she stated that Rubina Ashraf, Sania, and Nadia are her inspirations as an actor.
