Sara Khan (Hindi: सारा खान; born on 6 August 1989) is an Indian model and actress of Muslim ethnicity. She won the Miss Madhya Pradesh title in 2007. She is best known for her role in serials Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai, Ram Milaayi Jodi and Junoon – Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq.

Sara Khan was born into a Muslim, Pashtun family in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Khan's family is very supportive to her. In Khan's family her father is a doctor, and mother runs a boutique. She has four sisters. Sara is youngest child among four sisters in her family. Sara had passed 12th from Bhopal and got enrolled in the Mumbai University for graduation.

Khan got married with actor Ali Merchant in an Islamic Wedding Ceremony on November 10, 2010 inside the Bigg Boss house. In 2011 she filled divorce and now lives in Mumbai with her family.

Sara Khan's first television role was as Sadhna in Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai.[1] In 2008, she appeared as a star contestant on the show Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?, along with Parul Chauhan who plays her onscreen sister in Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai. The two of them played the game and then donated the winnings to the charity HelpAge India.

She also appeared in Amul Star Voice of India 2 alongside Angad Hasija, Parul Chauhan, and Kinshuk Mahajan on 20 September 2008 as a celebrity guest. She appeared on the popular TV show 10 Ka Dum, hosted by Salman Khan on 29 August 2009[2] and has also hosted the Dance Premier League, a dancing reality show that airs on Sony TV.

[3] She also appeared on Baat Hamari Pakki Hai on Sony TV as a dancer on 30 and 31 August 2010. After being evicted from Bigg Boss Sara is also filming in two Bollywood films named Dark Rainbow and Aman Ki Asha which is planned to be released in 2014. She was also seen in V The Serial on channel V. Currently, she is playing the role of Shallu in Junoon – Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq on Life OK.
